Thanks. Is there way to determine that program was compiled
under MacOS - what symbols C compilers defines? I.e. under
Windows, symbol _WIN32 usually is defined, so I can write

#if defined (_WIN32)
   Windows-specific code
#elif defined (???)
   Mac-specific code
#else
   Unix-specific code
#endif
