For an active computerchess player like me, Steven, your statement does sound as
if you said that after three quarters of the year 2004 are already over, you can
well wait till Christmas season is over to not hurt your business more than
necessary which could be the case if you stopped the hosting of CCC right now.

But what I didn't understand in all the debates, why at all you started the
debate since you host CCC since 1997? What was the difference in these past
years that brought you to the conclusion that suddenly now you must ask for
donations? What has the economy of ICDchess to do in a multi-factor analysis
with the existence of CCC. Again what is the difference to the years 1997, 1998,
1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003?

In other words, what is the depth of your thoughts about the donation question?
BTW that Tim M, became 6 years older and will no longer win the US championships
that is self-understood. But is the support of CCC really a satisfying full-time
job for a chess pro?

Quite confused about this chess game and your future plans, yours

Rolf
