Secondly, Rebel is still dos.. this I think would only be convenient for Windows. Yes, the chessnet, chesspartner and chessvision interfaces are *very* lacking.. But then again that wasn't really the main purpose of a program.. To see a *really* good ics interface put into a top commercial program would require it being shaped around blitzin or winboard.. (my preference is blitzin).. and what if you are in blitz.. some of the programs it is hard to move pieces .. i.e. when using blitzin you can "theoretically" make 10 moves in 1 second.. with a gui like genius or rebel or fritz maybe 1 move in 2 seconds.. so you are already at a "disadvantage".. also this would probably encourage people to find new ways of cheating.. (which might be even easier, as they are ALREADY in the program).. Just a few thoughts, although it is still a good idea..
