My answer has nothing to do with SSDF, and it has everything to do with $$. ChessTiger Ruffian order immediately due Lokasoft's outstanding "loyalty" pricing program with the upgrades < $30 which falls into my chump change category. Shredder -> order immediately since there is no extra charge for the dual version (which I have) and plus it is considered by me (as well as many others )to be the absolute strongest engine available. I pre-ordered CMX and CM9 -- CM9 I felt I got a lot for the buck. CMX was disappointing and I would NOT pre-ordered CMXI. I will pre-order Hiarcs 10 because I think Mark is devoting much greater time with it now that he has given up his day job with Nortel. Plus it it gives me the excuse to push for PPC HIARCS! Junior and Fritz will have to wait - their dual versions are more expensive and I ran out of money - sorry!
