I needed a rewrite anyway, and Borland doesn't seem willing to produce a 64bit compiler in the near future, wich is a big disadvantage since I wanted to use the Kogge-Stone stuff rather than the 0x88 I used until now. ( actually, it will be a kind of a mixture) The new Visual C++ compiler makes writing an interface just as easy as in Delphi although for the first few months I will be using arena/winboard for games. For my work I'm used to program in both Pascal and C(++) so it doesn't really make a difference for me, so my choice became C. Tony > >Steve
