I don't consider this. Basically, I wait for Fritz 9, and maybe Junior 9. For those, one doesn't have to wait for ratings to appear IMO. But there were bugs/patch issues in the past with these two though. IIRC stalemate bugs were discovered for J7 (or J8?) but never patches. So I'm not sure yet about Junior 9 yet, but Fritz 9 will be a must-have for me as I have skipped F8 (blush :-)). The new Fritz *GUI* version will be interesting too! Regards, Mike Scheidl
