But in using crafty 19.17, the exe version in the fritz8 gui, I add the following into the options section of wb2uci.eng: WhiteScore=true This way the evaluation is with respect to white. ie +1.00 means white is up a pawn; -1.00 means black is up a pawn, regardless of crafty's color. Otherwise the evaluation given is relative to crafty's color, not to white. I also do it for Aice and perhaps another engine which I do not remember.
