Hi Uri,
Yes,in general you are right! Here arises some questions in my mind:
1.How strong must be the engine so that it can play without an opening book
facing other strong engines with good opening book!?
2.Must the author of the chess engine work over an opening book or must he leave
this task to other good book creators!?Don't miss understand me Uri....I know
that you are a strong chess player....what I mean is that the author must
concintrate his efforts on the developing of the engine rather than working over
an opening book!
Regards,
Dr.Wael Deeb
