Hi Hit F12 then ->"book options" then mark "use engine book" and unmark "use opening book". If you are talking about engine matches ot tourneys just one hint: If you are sceptical about the use of the engine book and you do NOT use a Shredder engine just go to ->"extras" ->"opening book" ->"new opening book" and create an "empty" book without any moves. Load this book for your tourney and mark "use engine book". YOu can use that book for engine matches as well. It is an old habit of me which is no longer really needed but you can allways be sure that the engines use their own book and not something else! Bye Ingo
