R2 is a setting I created based off of the R1 setting. It basically was just intended to be better at blitz. R1 is most likely stronger than it in longer games. I started off my JK3 2004 Tournament at 40/0 with the R2 setting and it was slightly behind Ruffian. I replaced R2 with JudgeII and JudgeII is leading Ruffian by about 2-3 games. Recently I created a new setting called JK5. It is basically a combination of all the best settings. I'm hoping it will be strong at blitz and standard time controls. I'll keep you posted if it turns out to be promising.
