For Crafty Computer Tournament Book : get these two files: ftp://ftp.cis.uab.edu/pub/hyatt/v19/book.bin ftp://ftp.cis.uab.edu/pub/hyatt/v19/bookc.bin make a copy of bookc.c and rename it to books.bin That's it - that is all you need. =================================================== For more interesting human play - get this book: ftp://ftp.cis.uab.edu/pub/hyatt/v19/books.bin and use it instead of bookc.bim as books.bin. Or make your book using the book create command. I made a very nice interesting about 11MB big using just the pgn file from the Chess informant volumes 1- 90. book create ci_01_90.pgn 60 1 .30 it takes every winning (game resulted in a win) move played just once or the move was played at least 3 times with either at least 1 win or two draws out of 3 games (30% score required if more than 1 game played)
