I agree buying Middlegame Enciclopedia and other books you can save money. I
bought Mentor and i am not plenty of time for studying chess; it saves time for
studying chess.
If you read Wetzell book (Master at any age) he stressed the concept of useful
chess images (master knows more chess images than beginner) and if you cannot
remember them he shows how to build flash cards.
Mentor does everything remembers your performance about a proposed position and
if you scored less than 100% will be reproposed  until you reach 100% of
performance.
This technique is more interactive than a book is a sort of personalized
lessons.
My gold medal to mentor for time saving because chess is not all in life.
I hope will develop modules for openings
