>How do you know that ? Where is that quote from Leko that says that ? I said Leko will be the first one to admit (not that he has already admitted) >[/RAMBLING ON] > >On the same line of reasoning why not make qualifications like this : ask >everyone who is better than them and the 2 players that gets most votes will >play in the finals. Even no need from them to play a final match, the one that >the other player recognizes is better than him will win. > >[/RAMBLING OFF] U do not misunderstand and get angry. In that case tell me Why is Kasparov involved in reunification because he clearly thinks that he is better than others (current poerformances suggest something else)and thus qualified to play in semifinal (or should we say finals as he is bound to beat Kasimdazov). U see it is clearly going on in the format u have suggested. Why to blame Anand he is just part of this system. Anand for many years is playing at the top( For the past 8 years probably in top 3)still he does not get such qualification for the semis but KRAMNIK playing probably some years less than Anand gets the same. Isn't this going on in the same mode i.e. who is better than the other my question is why Anand has to go through qualification Match to play Kramnik when both were champions at the same time. Yes u can say that Anand lost his title but remember Kramnik refused to play again in the rematch for these many years. On what basis do u think Anand to be weaker than Kramnik at the moment. Also pl. tell me after asking yourself whether Kasimdazov and Leko both r stronger than Anand? If u dont believe in the ELO ratings atleast believe in current performances Regards Vikrant
