I can possibly pay $20.00 per year for having this forum up. The issue is that you are not considering that there are some countries where people really have to work too hard to get $20.00 US. That means no movies, no Amazon books, no first line computers, cheap internet or public internet, no fancy dinners with girlfriend/wife, low use of car or no car, etc. They will not be able to benefit from this forum because somebody wanting to put a price tag for elite membership. The ideas in this forum are priceless and they are not only for the people that can pay for reading them. Putting a membership price in this forum will possibly kill the forum itself. What would happen when the key posters of this forum go away because they do not pay for any reason? How would you attract new members that love computer chess field? Please let us get reasonable. I can believe that some of the members of this forum can get computer hosts that run a forum like this. ICD has done a great job for hosting this site, but they seem to be struggling. Let us offer help and creative solutions instead of money. Mario Antonio.
