After examining a number of my games I have seen that my main problem is my lack, almost absolute, of openning knowledge. I have good middle game tactics and good ending, but it does not do any good once my awful openning leave me in the brink of defeat once and again. Current programs trounce me just because of that. I stay inferior from move 2 or 3 to the last. The deepness of my ignorance is such that it is almost uncredible for a player of my elo strenght. Against human I can win with tactic even from inferior positions, but not against computers. I have given a look to Bookup, but I do not like it. It is not my idea and it is not at the reach os my lazyness to learn by heart a line after another. So, do you know some other way to get at least an ABC kind of proficiency in opennings? Fdo, lazy as hell.
