It might be that Sp2 is heavier on the "move often used files to the outside of the harddisk for faster loading times" option during defragmentation. This option can actually fragment your disk since rather than having all tbs files of one folder close on the harddisk ( where they can be initialised in one run ) they might be scatterd around, split up in often used, mildly used and hardly used. BTW if you defragmentated your harddisk after installing SP2 for the first time ( or since a long time) it might be unrelated to SP2. Redefragmentating your harddisk without the option could solve the problem. Tony > >Bye >Ingo
