hi omid,

my latest muse gets something extremely similar to what falcon gets: fail high
on ply 6, at 0.2 seconds or so, but needs about a minute to resolve the mate in
6. somehow i'm not very happy with that - why does it need so long to resolve
the mate?
some info on muse's search: 1ply extension for checks and mate threat, checks
generated in the first ply of QS.

do you have any clue as to why falcon also shows this behavior?

cheers
  martin
