Subject: Crafty book not played as black

I have a problem with crafty (16.1, 16.2,16.3) not playing out of its book when
it is black. It does play out of its book when playing white. I have asked
Robert Hyatt, and after looking at a couple of logs from crafty he did not know
why, and I did not pursue it because I know he is busy. Does anyone else have
any ideas as to why crafty does this? Does it from text play or from winboard.
