This plus some hard extension limits that prevent huge
buildups of extensions (the exact rule is no more than
one full ply extension per every 2 ply)...

The above ideas pushed the program to be able to solve
WAC with full null move in about epsilon over a minute
on an old 1ghz P3 (down from 95-100 seconds) and retained
the overall WAC level at a new record (for me) of 251.

I think these two ideas came from readings (maybe misreadings?)
of Uri and Bob's replies over the last few days... so thanks
and sorry if there is a misinterpretation of anything.

Each program seems to derive an improvement from totally unique
sets of changes.
