Deep Junior is usually weaker on a single-cpu compared to the normal Junior. At
least that has been the case of previous versions. It is also a lot more
expensive. Anyhow, I have Junior 8 and it is very entertaining to watch. It is
my choice opponent against my Pro Deo settings as it is one of its toughest
opponents. It is very agressive and its evaluations reflect this, which also
means one must take its evaluations with a grain of salt. It plays a great game,
though I believe its endgame play is its weakest point. I will definitely be
getting Junior 9 once it is out.
