Yes...but it is a bit to risky at this level of play compounded by fast secondary T/C..a bad call on Kramnik's part imho. He did indeed make some poor moves defending that position in the ending, due to time trouble. It's always harder to defend than it is to attack! Psychology, plays a big role here.
