Actually the advantage that computers have against humans at tactics, is not the reason for the balance you say. It is a reason but not the main. The most important factor for being equal with humans (GMs) is their "ability" not to make mistakes (or anyway, to make little one's) and definitely not to blunder, in comparison to human beings that of course can't avoid them...... >
