Subject: New Pro Deo S&D 6.0 settings, (partial) results.

I've been holding back on publishing my settings since my previous best used the
MISC_58 switch and I wasn't happy with some of the things it caused, even if the
tactics seemed improved. One very consistent characteristic caused by the switch
is to have PD sacrifice a piece for pawns, even if there are lots of other
pieces on the board, and the pawns are on their beginning squares. Sometimes it
works, and sometimes not, but as a player I really wasn't convinced.

Unfortunately, even though I managed to find many many settings that did well on
test suites (one does have to start somewhere after all), the playing usually
didn't follow. One significant test of fire is to run the Nunn 2 set in blitz
against Ruffian. Ruffian is quick to punish mediocre play in blitz. Until now,
none of my settings were able to do better than the default settings, so why
bother publishing them? I consider the +1 result using the [Time Control = 125]
result as the standard and not the -8 with the older time control setting. I've
also gotten some funny blitz results with kamikaze settings (very high king
safety values, low piece values, etc) but the games are not very inspiring, even
if pretty comical.

The following settings seem relatively well-balanced from the games I saw, do
not use the MISC_58 switch, and just beat Ruffian 22-18 (+19 -15 =6) in the Nunn
2 blitz match (single CPU (Athlon 2400XP+), ponder off, 60 MB hash each, 5mins +
3s). I saw a number of the games, and overall was pretty satisfied with its
play. It bears testing at slower time controls, and I'll do so, but here they
are for any wanting to give them a run.

Note that the learning was all turned off for the testing, so do not forget to
turn them back on.
