BTW it's official now, kramnik missed this move in his preparation. given that all engines see it rather quickly (the good ones, not mine...), it seems that they didn't check the line with a computer - strange if you know that he has 3 GMs as seconds. also interesting: instead of 24. Qxe2? Bxe2 25. bxa6 which ran into 25...Qd3, kramnik could have played 24. bxa6 - but while i was wondering whether that was better, he already whipped out 24. Qxe2 (it was part of his preparation). what is the verdict after 24.bxa6!?
