There is a *much*, *much* easier way to do this. Just use program Yace and its clever PGN commands. I will post a little documentation on how to easily create Crafty repertoire opening books out of (nested) PGN this weekend ( was planned anyway, but postponed). Good motivation to see that there is some interest in it :) Later, Peter
