I don't know how many others share my opinion in this, but if they follow through with this policy I will never again purchase any of their products. I upgraded from Genius 5 to Genius 6 solely to get the 32-bit engine. Then I discovered it wasn't included, so I had received only a new interface. This left me feeling somewhat defrauded, but I can live with that for a while if the 32-bit engine is later included free. If they expect me to pay again for an engine I already paid for once, they're sadly mistaken. And I won't let any company take advantage of me twice this way, so no more purchases of their products, regardless of how good they may be! It is interesting that with all the vilification Chessbase and Chessmaster/Mindscape have received about their product strategies, I cannot remember them (or any other company) attempting to perpetrate such an act on consumers. It is incomprehensible to me that they would attempt such a thing when there are so many excellent programs to choose from, all from reputable companies with excellent customer service.
