You need to have a monster like Deep Blue to really play strong chess.
The PC's are grossly over-hyped and Deep Blue is grossly-under-appreciated.

Bob says DB was 10 years ahead of its time speed-wise.
He said he never saw a team with a better record in the ACM events.
He said the depths it was reaching were super.
And this is with a lot more evaluation than anyone gave them credit for.

I have a sorry to say and that is the joke that Deep Junior or Deep Fritz
are anywhere near the final Deep Blue. They aren't. That is the joke of
the sales team pushing for your dollars.

So that is what is hitting you. It is hype. Pure and simple.
