Yes true, it might be premature, but first impressions mean a lot.

I was hoping for atleast 1 win by junior, and no losses :(

Fritz 8 (standard year old version, maybe more now) had a better performance on
a laptop,

It just doesn't settle well.  Hiarcs 9 drawed all 4 games vs Bareev, didn't lose
a single game.  I'd almost prefer something like that.  Hiarcs 10 that is.
