Go up one level in this thread
Two things. >First the Fidelity Chess Challenger is being auctioned on Ebay right now. all of the Chess Challenger's on Ebay right now are the CC7(7 levels of play) the original Chess Challenger had one level of play and is considered a real collector's item worth between $500-$750 depending on condition, and if it is in the original box with pieces manual etc.etc here is a photo of it: http://www.schachcomputer.at/callen01.htm >Second the JS&A chess computer was known to make error in playing, ie. illegal >moves. the JS&A computer is really the Novag MK1 and is a different computer from the Compuchess it was sold in the USA by JS&A a company that has since gone out of business many years ago it was the first chess computer officially endorsed by a world champion(Karpov) a photo of the JS&A: http://www.schachcomputer.at/mk1.htm Best Steve
