OK, first player (Black) has at least a draw out of the 'White Doctor' - but might fare better with a different 1st or 2nd move, and White might fare better with a different 1st move. So we cannot say Checkers is 'ultra-weakly' solved yet. Maybe Jonathan is investigating the other six replies to 10-14 as priority. Anyway, he tells me the 2nd opening-triad investigated was 'proved' (by one of the programs) 10x as quickly as the 'White Doctor' was. g
