As all Collector's know, the "False Lead" is perhaps the most disheartening aspect of collecting the old computers.. i could write a book on the literally dozens of rare computers i was sure i had finally found, only to have the seller renege on the deal or simply change his mind or even worse..take an agreed to price and use it to up the price to other collector's. another example of the false lead is the "sounds to good to be true syndrome" here is a perfect example.. i am perusing Ebay this morning when an auction with the Title..."3 VINTAGE COMPUTER CHESS GAMES!!..DIABLO".. appears on my screen the Novag Diablo is a very sought after computer by Collector's the world over as it was the last Wooden board Novag Released and the first with a 68000 processor.. i couldn't believe my eyes...not only a Diablo..but 2 other vintage computers as well!! my mouse was shaking as i clicked on the link..: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=80328&item=5725970547 pffft..
