Hi Gerd,

yes, it's a pity.
The Arena team hold the title in Leiden with the program Ruffian by Per-Ola.

We can start with Patriot and Ktulu but I don't find for a second program an
operator team. Only Johan and myself for one weekend. So we can operate one
program but I have no interest to say we play with Ktulu or Patriot. Both
programs but not one of this programs.

Of my message in Arena Support Forum (with more as 700 members ... search a
second operator team for Leiden) I got no answers. On more times in this year I
give me the question ... Frank, why you try to make since six years the best for
users? If I need help I stand in the rain.

So I try contact Rudolf Huber. SOS is the main engine for Arena and it's time
that we play with SOS an official tourney. My mail to Rudolf comes to late and
Rudolf can't in this short time create a new PAR Sos version. This is clearly my
mistake because I contact Rudolf to late.

In this case I can't start with our team in Leiden. I have at home 9 fast PCs
with 2.8 - 3.6 GHz, Hardware isn't the problem but to find a good team with help
me to operate the engines seems to be a big problems!

I hope that Per-Ola is OK, normally Per-Ola send fast answers of my mails and is
very friendly. We all ... I am sure ... have no interest to loosed this strong
programmer!

I wish the organisation in Leiden good luck and will try to make next year a
better organisation. I am happy that Theo understand my situation, Theo know
that I like the tourneys in Leiden and Theo know that the tourneys in Leiden are
for me the favorit official computer chess tourneys.

Furthermore, I wish all participants good luck in Leiden 2004 and I am sure that
the best program will win the tourney!

Best
Frank
