Although I haven't tried Rebel 10, I think that Fritz 5 at $50 from the USCF is all I need for the following reasons .... 1. Top notch chess program. 2. Great analysis mode. 3. Viewable opening book library (expandable) 4. Game database (expandable) 5. Sparing modes and fun levels. I found the menu system to be confusing at first but I got used to it. There are some other frills such as voice and 3D board. For some of the features such as the database and opening books, it helps if you have lots of disk space. John Coffey
