Subject: Computer Chess Games "Useless" without Proper Information

Hi CCC

I Don't know about anyone else but I am getting sick and tired of people
posting computer chess games without the relevant information. What I mean is
games posted without telling 1. What time control the games were played on 2.
Processor speed 3. Rating of the human participants. In my view the games are
totally meaningless without such information. I am referring specificially to
the MKB tournament listed under Human vs computer games in the computer Web
reports, although this lack of information appears to be the rule instead of the
exception. If Rebel beats John Doe and John doe's rating is not listed, then I
really have no idea if it beat a 1400 player or a international master. Thus I
do not get any indication of Rebel's performance. The same is true with
processor speed and Time control. Obviously Rebel defeating a international
master at 40/2 is much more significant than game in 5! Does anyone agree? or
Disagree?
