>Pairing of round 7 of Open Dutch Computer Chess Championship 2004 >Table White - Black Results >----------------------------------------------------------------------- round 7 > 1 Deep Sjeng ( 3½) - Pro Deo ( 5½) 3- 8 > 2 The Baron ( 3½) - Diep ( 5 ) 9- 4 > 3 Nexus ( 3½) - The King ( 3½) 5- 1 > 4 Chess Tiger ( 3½) - Ant ( 3 ) 2- 12 > 5 Tao ( 3 ) - Kallisto ( 1½) 7- 11 > 6 Goldbar ( 2½) - Neurosis ( 1½) 14- 13 > 7 XiniX ( 0 ) - IsiChess ( 2½) 10- 6 Wow, and next week Tony will have fixed all bugs ;-( I feel really shredderd now. The marshall against The Baron gave me the rest today, after yesterdays highlights from IsiChess agains Deep Sjeng (16.Kf1 18.Kg1) and Nexus, where IsiChess was totally without any clue, got out-searched as well as out-evaluated. Very impressed by Nexus knowledge about pawn-levers on the attacking side. Very impressed also about Nexus 27.Sxc6, while IsiChess pondered on Nxg4. It seems 27.b5 wins too. What is your best move here? [D]1k2qb1r/1bp1r1p1/p1p5/2PpN2p/PP1B2n1/2Q3PB/7P/1R3RK1 w - - 23..Bf8?? was also a awkward blunder from IsiChess, while Be7 gives some hope: [D]1k2r2r/1bpq2pp/p1pb4/2Pp4/1P1B2n1/2Q2NP1/P5BP/1R3RK1 b - - Cheers, Gerd > >Theo
