Hi Renze, here are the other three solutions. The last one (mate in 24) is absolutely no position for a mate solver - there are no useful restrictions for ChestUCI´s special mode, and I´m sure this problem could be solved faster by a normal chess engine with access to the 6-piece tablebases. Best regards, Franz. IN-10 2r3k1/p1pR2p1/1p6/4R3/r1p1P1K1/5N2/6P1/8 w - - bm Ng5; This is in fact a mate in 10, but the keymove seems to be Ree7 (instead of Ng5)! After manually entering 1.Ree7, ChestUCI found the following (longest!) defence for black: 9/9 19:13 91.112.978 79.079 -M9 1. ... c3 2.Rxg7+ Kh8 3.Kf5 Rxe4 4.Ng5 Rf8+ 5.Kxe4 Rf6 6.Rge7 Kg8 7.Nh7 Rf8 8.Rg7+ Kh8 9.Nxf8 c2 10.Ng6+ IN-10 3r3k/p1R4r/1p6/4P1N1/2p3K1/6P1/8/8 w - - bm Nxh7; Mate in 10 is ok, but with 1.Rxh7+ (instead of Nxh7)!
