I even removed my old playchess.com software and then I just downloaded and re-installed the latest playchesssetup.exe from playchess.com. I still have the problem of edit in the menu just having the following choices: edit user data, change password, search friends, search players, edit friend list, payments. NO MENTION of edit player mode whether I am in a room or not. I am able to go into the engine room. My account is due to buying shredder8 recently. They gave me 10 ducats in play money. No sense wasting time with their software that doesn't work on my system.
