There should be a playoff and why to have a rule that allows Kramnik to win the match even if he draws, he was not the official champiuon of FIDE. These age old rules of FIDE give undue advantage to one player and make the game more uninteresting nowhere in any sport nowadays a champion given so much leeway. Remember Chess is not only an art but also a sport and to mke it more commercial and interesting we should have fair rules.(This reunification in itself is unfair). It is upto us the lovers of the game to decide how the system and game should be played and not an organisation like FIDE which fails in every department. Regards Vikrant
