Will someone please verify for me their Shredder 8 files. I am beginning to wonder if mine are corrupt somehow ... \chessbase\engines shredder8.dll 700,416 (size) 12/11/2003 (date last modified) shredder8.eng 86,016 (size) 12/10/2003 (date last modified) \chessbase\engines\UCI\shredder8 shredder8.exe 663,552 (size) 12/11/2003 (date last modified) My problems - both chessbase shredder 8 and UCI in engine vs engine matchs on playchess.com freeze up on occasion and then restart the engine analysis at ply 1. Does not happen with other engines like Fritz. On Chess Assistant 7 as a computer account on ICC ..a solid lockup occurs on occasion. Does not happen with other engines like Tiger. This happens on both my desktop and notebooks PC's . I've tried tweaking all kinds of things but nothing is fixing the prob. Have also reinstalled twice Barry
