Subject: Pawn Distance To Mate(DTM) Nalimov to get Best Move

I have some problem :
i get strange return value DTM for position like KPK, KPKP, etc.
KPK give me wrong Distance To Mate Value.
Example :
for position KPK (FEN:8/8/8/3k4/8/8/3PK3/8 w - - 0 1), return value is 8.
and best move is Ke2-e3(value expand: -8). That should be Ke2-d3(the right
move, value expand: -9).
Expand		Value
Ke2-d3		-9 *(the right best move)
Ke2-e3		-8 *(wrong move)
Ke2-f3		-9
Ke2-e3		-9
Ke2-d1		-10
Ke2-d2		-10
Ke2-d3		-10
Pd2-d3		-10
Pd2-d4		0
(maybe this is because they don't count conversion Pawn to Queen or other,
BUT what use of the return Value in that situation ?).
How i get the best move for that situation?
