I think the 'general consensus' on the person behind a pseudonym tends have
absolutely no value. Over at PLay chess, I saw a bunch of people get very
excited by the attacking blitz play of GM "Rafael" and the 'general consensus'
was that it was Morozevich or Kasparov. Funny because I thought it was pretty
obvious it was Vaganian, but no one emitting the 'consensus' knew who Vaganian
was. So the consensus was made of people who had zero chess culture. Just my 2
cents.
