Hello, I have recently written a program to link a Novag StarDiamond/StarSapphire to a PC. It's called StarConnect and has been reviewed by two magazines, Selective Search in the UK and ComputerSchaak in Holland. It provides a very user friendly front end along with the ability to save games in PGN format that can then be loaded into most PC chess programs. In addition it provides a graphical display of the board position, the extra analysis information provided through the serial link, and the ability to backup and restore any user defined book openings.
