Version 5 of Arasan, my Windows-based chess program, has been released. It includes a Winboard-compatible console version and a version with a GUI. Source is also available. Currently the release is only available from http://www.best.com/~jdart/arasan.htm. Unfortunately, this site has a daily download quota and lately it has been hitting it. If you can't get in, try again later. In a few days, the software should also be available at the U. of Pittsburg archive site: http://www.pitt.edu/~schach/Archives/index2.html --Jon
