Then the 'question' of who is the strongest, would forever remain open.

Remember Fischer Karpov?
Alekhine Botvinnik?

Sadly, the Matches never took place.

Better to beat the "World Champion" over the board.
Kramnik can confuse and delay, but can't hide; he'll have to play Kasparov or
damage his reputation even more.
