And possibly another rotator would be needed to make the knights face forward. My plan for the arm included a 40 column silest thermal paper printer, with cutter, that would produce a PGN game score on demand. The idea was to include every thing needed to be compliant under USCF rules for tounament competion with no need for human intervention. Unfortunately, computer opponents have been nearly universally unwelcome in USCF events for the past ten years, so my motivation for producing a working model is rather reduced.
