Subject: A tough test position

Author: Albert Silver

The following position came up in a game with some settings I am testing:

[D]r2r4/1p1n2k1/1qn1p1pp/pNppP3/P7/R6P/1PPQBPP1/4R1K1 w - - 0 22

Pro Deo S&D 6.5 played 22.Bh5! and went on to win with a crushing attack, helped
by a blunder on its opponent it is true with 22...Ncxe5? Play proceeded with
23.Qc3 Kf6 24.Rxe5 Nxe5 25.f4 gxh5 26.Qxe5+ Kf7 27.f5! and white quickly won.

A better line would be 22...Rf8 23.Bxg6! Ncxe5 24.Bh5 Rf5 25.Bd1!

                                              Albert
