Either way this is a serious problem and Chessbase really needs to stand up and support their product, particularly where their faithful customers are concerned. I was going to buy CB9 in order to get the upgrade discount and also because I figured we've waited so long for it that it must be ready. But after what I've read here, I will wait until I see some commitment from Chessbase. Or perhaps I should just switch to Chess Assistant?
