The King engine states its depth differently from other engines. In the X/Y format: X = brute force depth -- all possible moves have been searched to this depth. Y = "nominal" search depth (as Johan calls it) -- all "interesting" moves have been searched to AT LEAST this depth. In general, you can use the Y number to state The King's search depth. jm
