Hi Michael, 64 bit computing is very interesting. Especially the AMD CPU with its lot of registers will become a target engine for chess programmers, when Microsoft is officially supporting 64 bit usage for normal MS OS users. Still I am developing on an 32 bit system, and here is a question on your Perft numbers shown at: [http://www.xs4all.nl/~mlngveld/gothicchess/index.html]. Those numbers finally differ in the end with mine at: [http://www.chessbox.de/Compu/schachzahl6_e.html]. I would be interested in eliminating those differences. Regards, Reinhard.
