Shredder 7 came with the free Classic Shredder GUI on the CD, but they didn't put it on the Shredder 8 CD. They sell the Classic GUI separately now at shredderchess.com. You can make a Shredder 8 UCI engine to work with it OK. I've tried both and prefer the Chessbase GUI for various reasons, including the ability to use .cbh files. WP
